Meet the Team

Sophia Timko
Project Management & UX Research

I’m a design researcher and strategist passionate about turning research insights into tangible design innovations. Prior to CMU, I crafted both physical environments and digital experiences working as a design researcher at the architecture firm, Gensler, and at Runyon Design, a digital product design and venture consultancy. Currently, I conduct research at CMU about human-AI collaboration and am excited to explore how emerging technologies can apply to the healthcare space.

Tamara Zilovic
Visual & UX Design

I’m a UX/ Visual designer with a strong interest in blending digital and physical mediums. A background in architecture, I previously worked as an in-house visual designer, developing computer-aided renderings and animations to envision new spaces. At CMU, I’ve been assisting with research related to hazard analysis for AI engineering.

Priya Jain
UX Research

I’m a UX Researcher with a background in cognitive science and economics. I’m passionate about creating seamless products informed by design strategy and human-centered approaches. Previously, I was part of a social cognition AI lab and interned at Amazon and H2O.ai.

Miley Hu
UX Design

I'm a UX Designer with a background in cognitive science and design innovation. Prior to CMU, my design work stretched across different industries, including SaaS and healthcare. I am interested in learning how to integrate emerging technologies to create powerful solutions.

Anisa Jibrell
UX Research & Design

I’m a journalist-turned-designer focused on mixing my passion for technology with storytelling to create memorable user experiences. As a reporter, I covered drugmakers, automakers, among other entities. At CMU, I’m helping to design a digital game aimed at increasing health literacy in marginalized communities.
